Bahamas In-Flight Catering

One advantage of flying privately to the Bahamas is that you choose what is on board, rather than accepting whatever the airline loaded that morning.

We arrange specialty in-flight catering as an add-on at an additional fee. Selections are based on your preferences and confirmed before departure. It is not bundled into the trip cost, and we would rather say so plainly than surprise you on the invoice.

What Can Be Arranged

Given enough notice, your advisor can arrange more or less anything you ask for: a particular bottle of champagne, a proper steak, vegan or vegetarian menus, or a sandwich from a deli you like. Almost any request can be met.

Where it gets harder is timing and location. Catering is straightforward out of South Florida and out of Nassau, where there is a proper supply chain. On the smaller Out Island airfields the options narrow considerably, and it is often better to load in Florida or Nassau before the last leg. Your advisor will tell you what is realistic at your departure point rather than promising something the airport cannot deliver.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

Tell us ahead of time if anyone on board has a food allergy, or wants food prepared kosher, low fat, low carbohydrate, or to any other requirement. On a short island hop there is no opportunity to fix it in the air.

What Comes as Standard

Most charter flights are stocked with complimentary beverages and snacks, though this varies by operator and aircraft. Anything beyond that is the catering arrangement described above.

One practical note for Bahamas trips: bringing food and drink across an international border has rules attached at both ends, and fresh produce in particular can cause difficulty. Your advisor will flag anything worth knowing before departure.

Ask an advisor what you would like on board when you request your quote.
