About Jet Charter Bahamas

WHO WE ARE

Jet Charter Bahamas is a boutique private jet charter broker arranging flights to and from the islands of the Bahamas, and we work as advisors rather than as a sales desk. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, private families, and individuals who fly often enough to know exactly what they want from the people arranging it.

We are not the largest brokerage in the industry, and we do not arrange the most flights. That was never the goal. Our first priority on every trip is the safety of the people in the cabin, and everything else follows from that.

WHAT FLYING TO THE BAHAMAS ACTUALLY INVOLVES

The Bahamas is an archipelago of roughly 700 islands and cays, which means the airport matters as much as the aircraft. Nassau and Freeport handle anything up to airliner size around the clock. The Out Island airfields serving Abaco, Eleuthera, Exuma, Bimini, Andros and the southern islands vary a great deal in runway length, lighting and hours. Several of them suit turboprops and light aircraft better than they suit jets. The operator confirms performance for the specific aircraft, load and conditions on the day.

Every flight between the United States and the Bahamas is an international trip. Your first landing in the country has to be at a designated airport of entry, where Bahamas Customs and Immigration clear the aircraft and the passengers. At the larger fields, that happens at the private terminal, which is usually the quickest part of the day. We will tell you which airport suits your destination and what to expect when you land, before you book.

WHERE WE ARE

Our corporate office sits just outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and we have people working remotely across the United States and overseas. We started the firm in 2012 and have built relationships with operators and service providers around the world since then.

We coordinate departures from your home airport through our operator network, wherever you happen to be flying from, and you can expect a competitive quote. Have a look at our Bahamas private flight destinations, then contact us for a free quote.

OUR MISSION

Passenger safety comes first, and we will show you how we get there rather than ask you to take it in good faith. Before we present options, we confirm the operator holds the certification required for the flight, review the operator’s safety and incident history, and confirm the pilots are qualified and current on the aircraft type you will be flying on. Where an operator takes part in a third-party audit program, we reference it. You can read the details on our safety and vetting page.

We like the more personal version of this business, and our size lets us keep it that way. There is a line we use around the office: we are only as good as our last flight. It keeps everyone honest.

From June through November we follow the National Hurricane Center forecasts alongside your operator, and we will tell you early if a storm looks likely to move your dates.
